As video games have evolved, their soundtracks have grown and embraced the concept of creating an immersive experience which TV and Film have been building on for decades.

To create a fully immersive experience, it’s important to carve out a sonic identity. You have to consider the big picture as well as the small details in order to make your world, your characters and your story feel real. 

We'll review how the history of sound design in TV and film has influenced game audio design, while also recognizing what sets games apart.
